This section explains how Essence Global Services Pvt. Ltd. collects, uses and protects information through the Essence WorkForce mobile application (the "App"). It applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy; where it differs, this section applies to the App.

15.1 Information We Collect Through the App

Account information:

• Official email address and password used to sign in
• Employee ID, employee type, designation and user role

Profile information (entered by you in the App):

• Name, date of birth, gender, blood group, marital status and father's/husband's name
• Mobile number, personal email, emergency contact and references
• Current and permanent address, state, city and pincode

Identity and financial information:

• Aadhaar name and number, PAN number and UAN number
• Bank name, account holder name, relation with account holder, account number and IFSC code

Documents and photos you upload:

• Profile photo
• Aadhaar card, PAN card, resume/experience letter and other documents you choose to upload

Site attendance information:

• Customer, supervisor, site name and location entered by you
• Date and time of clock-in, clock-out and partial close
• Selfie photos at clock-in and clock-out (including PPE kit and ID card)
• Site photos before and after work, and photos of remaining material
• Remarks and reasons entered by you

Location information: your device's precise GPS location (latitude and longitude), captured only at the moment you clock in, clock out or partially close a site visit.

Technical information: basic request information required to operate the service, such as app version, device type and server logs.

15.2 Location and Camera

• Location is used only to verify that site attendance is recorded at the site. It is collected only while you are using the App and only when you perform an attendance action. The App does not track your location in the background or when the App is closed.
• Camera is used only when you choose to take a selfie, site photo or document photo. You may also select existing photos or files for your profile and documents.
• You can disable these permissions at any time in your device settings; however, site attendance cannot be recorded without them.

15.3 How We Use App Information

• Recording and verifying site attendance and site visit activity.
• Review and approval of site visits by supervisors.
• HR administration, employee records, payroll and statutory compliance (such as PF/UAN).
• Sending work-related notifications and documents.
• Maintaining the security of the App and preventing misuse.
• Complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use App information for advertising, we do not sell or rent it, and the App does not contain third-party advertising or analytics tools.

15.4 Sharing of App Information

App information is shared only where necessary for the purposes above, with:

• Authorized Essence Global personnel, such as your supervisors, HR and administrators.
• Service providers that host our servers and store uploaded files and photos on our behalf, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
• Government or regulatory authorities where required by law.

Information is transmitted to our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access controls. Uploaded files and photos are kept in secure cloud storage. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
